Ontario Made helps bakeries source local ingredients

From herbs, spices, to fruits and vegetables, Ontario bakers can refer to an online database to ensure supporting local farmers and suppliers.

Ontario Made was launched in partnership with the Government of Ontario, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME)to create a searchable consumer database “as part of our ongoing initiative to help Ontarians make informed buying choices.”

The web-based database is free to use, and has categories for sweets and treats, fruits, vegetables, condiments, beverages, frozen goods and more.
