Italy’s Sigep 2024 to feature gelato, ice sculpting and pastry

Rimini, Italy – Sigep 2024, the 45th edition of The World Dolce Expo, is set to take place from Jan. 20 to 24, 2024, in Rimini, Italy. This event focuses on gelato, pastry, bakery, coffee, and chocolate supply chains, showcasing products and innovations.

Supported by the Italian Trade Agency at Rimini Expo Centre, the event aims to facilitate business and networking opportunities, emphasizing discussions on sustainability, product culture, marketing development and digital innovation.

The six specialized “Arenas” will host international competitions, workshops and demos. The Gelato Arena will feature the Gelato World Cup, a competition encompassing gelato making, pastry and chocolate creation, catering, and ice sculpting, with 12 teams participating. The Pastry Arena includes the Junior Pastry World Cup and the Senior and Junior Italian Pastry Championships, exploring themes such as “Myths and Legends,” “Travelling to the East” and “A Sustainable Future.”

Sigep 2024 serves as a platform for industry discussions, competitions and showcases.
