Ancient grains offer high levels of protein, as well as omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. The company offers gluten-free amaranth, quinoa, millet, teff and sorghum grains, as well as spelt, which is not gluten-free.

“The ability to offer our line of ancient grains in a whole grain form, as well as a precooked flake or raw flour provides wide versatility for our customers’ varying applications,” said Jennifer Tesch, sales and marketing director of SK Food. “As an ingredient solution provider, we are able to provide assistance in the product formulation stage and recommend a product that will best fit with a specific application and desired final product. The ancient grains, flakes and flours are all products that easily incorporate into a variety of food applications.”

The grains are packaged in 50lb bags and bulk totes, and are available as certified organic or conventional non-GMO. Kosher certification through the Orthodox Union is also available.
