Insomnia Cookies opens first Canadian store

Toronto – Known for their late-night sales of cookies, cookie cakes, cookie’wiches and ice cream, franchise Insomnia Cookies will open its first store opening in Canada at Toronto’s York University on Sept. 9.
Cookie flavours include Chocolate Chunk, Snickerdoodle and Canadian-inspired SKOR Crunch Deluxe as well as several plant-based options.
Insomnia Cookies’ first Canadian location opens at 85 The Pond in The Quad at York University on Sept. 9 and they’re hosting a late-night celebration for on and off campus insomniacs with a party under the stars, deejay, free cookies and swag.
The company promotes itself on social media and has a dedicated app customers can use to offer exclusive deals.
Seth Berkowitz came up with the Insomnia Cookies concept in 2003. The late-night bakery franchise is headquartered in Philadelphia, Penn., with more than 245 locations on or near college and university campuses.
