Bright, plant-based Exberry colours boost product appeal

GNT will demonstrate how its plant-based, sustainable Exberry colours can help increase product appeal at ProSweets Cologne Jan. 28-31, 2024.

Exberry colours are made from fruits, vegetables, and plants using physical processing methods such as chopping and boiling. Based on the concept of colouring food with food, the concentrates can deliver bright shades in almost any application for companies aiming for clean and simple ingredient lists.

Exberry colours qualify for clean-label declarations and are suitable for vegan, halal, and kosher diets, GNT said in a press release. They are also produced in accordance with GNT’s strict sustainability criteria. GNT has set out 17 targets to optimize its environmental and social impacts, including cutting the environmental footprint for Exberry product ranges by 25 per cent by 2030.

The company’s experts will be available throughout the ProSweets event to provide insights into how plant-based colours can be used to meet specific project requirements. ​
