Barry McLean joins Embassy Flavours’ advisory board

Brampton, ON — Barry McLean, former president of Canada Bread, is a new member of Embassy Flavours’ advisory board.
Before his role as president of Canada Bread, McLean had positions in product development, marketing and general management at Campbell Soup and Nabisco Canada. McLean is now principal of McLean& Associates Consulting, a firm focused on helping small to medium food and beverage companies.
McLean has the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors (Rotman), an MBA in marketing and organizational behaviour (Rotman), Honours BSc Food Science with Distinction (University of Guelph), along with completed culinary training at George Brown College.
He is currently a director of FoodStarter and Dare Foods. In the past, he has been on the boards of the United Way of Greater Toronto, The Grocery Foundation, American Baking Association, Baking Association of Canada, Healthy Grains Institute and Food Processors of Canada.
