New name and look for Christy Machine

Fremont, OH — The Christy Machine Company changed ownership in 2016 to Alexander Robinson. Christy Machine is long known for its dispensing systems in the baking and snack food industries. Robinson, owner and president, plans on adding a conveyor division and a company name change to Christy Machine & Conveyor. The new name will happen alongside an updated company logo design.

Robinson is an employee turned owner. After joining Christy Machine in 2006 as a shop helper polishing parts and sweeping floors, he worked his way up the ladder becoming head welder, then shop foreman. Eventually Robinson took over machine design and customer relations. In 2013 the wheels were turning and put in motion for Alexander to take over ownership and purchase the company as he was promoted to vice president. In June of 2016, he became the owner and president.

“I started on the ground floor and worked my way up through the ranks of the company, learning everything I could about the business, industry, our company, and the design and building of our dispensing machines. I had a dream of owning the company one day and to build upon the company’s great success and reputation, so I started putting a plan into place to build a future and legacy for my children and take the company to new heights,” said Robinson in a press release. “In 2016 that dream became a reality. Past ownership [Randy Fielding] did a wonderful job in building this company to a level they were comfortable with, but now it is my turn. Mr. Fielding continues a role in the company on our board of advisers and is a valuable asset to us. We have several new and exciting things planned to expand our business on the international stage with new equipment innovations, designs and system offerings that will be of great interest and benefit to the baking and snack food industries.”
