On March 5, Nestlé hosted the 2014 Soups of
the World Competition as part of its partnership with George Brown College Chef
School. In November, Humber College Canadian Centre for Culinary Arts and
Science will host Minor’s Student Culinary Competition.

Humber College and Nestlé will be
implementing activities designed to elevate the students’ learning experience. The
upcoming competition aims to encourage students to engage in creative recipe
development while honing their technical skills. It invites students of all
levels to compete and prepare a food truck-inspired dish that features the
Minor’s line of bases and flavour concentrates.

“The talent of these students, combined
with the high-quality training they receive at Humber College, promises great
things for the future of Canada’s culinary industry,” said Vicky Stefanidis, marketing
manager for Nestlé Professional Canada and the Minor’s brand, in a press
release. “We are excited to have the opportunity to support them as they learn
the key skills needed to succeed.”
