After careful review, Lallemand Baking announces a price increase, effective December 1, 2019, and/or as current contracts expire. The increases are as follows:
- Lal^Ferm® Compressed & Bag Yeast to increase to $0.03/lbs USD and $0.04/lbs Canadian
- Lal^Ferm® Cream Yeast $0.02/lbs USD, and $0.03/lbs Canadian
- Instaferm® Dry Yeast $0.10/lbs USD and $0.13/lbs Canadian.
The price increase reflects global substrate increases and heavier environmental regulatory demands on various manufacturing plants.
