IBIE hosting Americas selection for Louis Lesaffre Cup

September 15, 2010, Las Vegas, NV – The Louis Lesaffre Cup will
kick off the first of its international selection rounds during the International
Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE).

This will determine which two countries from North and South
America will advance to the prestigious Bakery World Cup in Paris in 2012. It
also marks the first time the Americas selection competition will be held
during IBIE, taking place in Las Vegas, NV, from September 26 to 29.

The Louis Lesaffre Cup, a baking competition first held in
2003. With 6,000 bakers taking part in the second edition all over the world,
it has become a benchmark competition in the bakery world.

The excitement, energy and buzz of the Louis Lesaffre Cup
will be coming directly from the IBIE show floor, central hall, booth 4552. The
countries taking part and order of competition are as follows:

September 26: U.S., Canada, Mexico
September 27: Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil
September 28: Chile, Peru

The results will be announced September 29 at 11:00 am. Teams
compete in three different categories: bread, Viennese pastry and artistic piece.
