Food photography course aims to help chefs showcase their creations

Toronto – George Brown College is offering an intensive two-day workshop to help chefs take their culinary photography to the next level.

Instructor Deirdre Buryk, author of Peak Season, recipe developer, writer, food stylist, and food photographer for clients across North America.

Buryk will show you the equipment and techniques you need to create breathtaking images of culinary delights. By the end of the weekend workshop, you will know how to enhance the appeal of your dishes using lighting, creative styling, visually-impressive angles, simple editing, and the seven coveted techniques that food photographers rely on.

Food Photography for Cooks is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10, at the college’s Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts.

The price is $425 plus HST and Eventbrite fees Registrants must have completed the college’s HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Online) course.
