Is your bakery ready for National Grilled Cheese Day?

Today’s grilled cheese is no longer white bread paired with processed cheese (though some may consider that the “classic.”) The modern grilled cheese now features European cheeses and a wider variety of bread, ranging from sweet to savourty. A study on bread preferences also cited that 85 percent of 1000 U.S. respondents prefer eating a closed sliced bread sandwich compared to 16 per cent who eat it open-faced.
