March 11, 2011, Irving, TX – Wonder has launched Smartwheat, a new 100 per cent whole wheat bread with added nutrition.

Two slices of Wonder Smartwheat provide 22 grams of whole grain and the same amount of calcium found in an eight ounce serving of milk.  The bread is free from high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and lower in sodium, as part of the brand’s recent commitment to sodium reduction.

The launch of Wonder Smartwheat follows the successful introduction of Wonder Smartwhite with the taste and soft texture of traditional white bread, but with the same amount of fibre as 100 per cent whole wheat bread, as well as added calcium and no HFCS.
