Restaurants Canada provides COVID-19 information resources

Restaurants Canada (RC) has responded to concerns regarding the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, by teaming up with Diversey and Health Canada to provide resources for those in the food industry.

Diversey has provided free, downloaded COVID-19 factsheets and videos to inform restaurant and bakery employers about the disease, and how best to prevent it from spreading. The company offers a webinar about the respiratory disease’s spread, and a fact sheet that aims to prevent the spread of misinformation or panic.

The RC blog states that “Foodservice operators can ensure their staff stay informed and aware of expectations related to COVID-19 by having a dedicated physical and/or digital space for communicating regular updates.”
