Johnson appointed as R&D site manager
Barry Callebaut, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products recently appointed Scott Johnson as the research and development site manager for the company’s product development lab in Pennsauken, N.J. Leveraging his product development experience, Johnson is charged with building a state-of-the-art chocolate research and development laboratory.
Syscan appoints Tassone president
Syscan International Inc. has appointed Joseph Tassone as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Axel Striefler has been appointed executive vice-president, responsible for International Business Development and Investor Relations.
“Joe Tassone’s performance, since joining the company in May 2007, has proven that he has the leadership talents necessary to navigate Syscan’s future,” says chairman of the board, John A. McLernon. “With Axel Striefler focusing his talents on expanded International Business Development and therefore strengthening Syscan’s position in the RFID industry, we best utilize our expertise and broader experiences.”
Andrews new director of PAC certificate program
Jim Downham, president and CEO of the Packaging Association of Canada, has appointed David Andrews as the new director of education. Andrews assumes responsibility for the development of strategic and operating plans to enhance the relevance, and ensure the continued success of the PAC Packaging Certificate Program.
