MIWE oven control system wins two design awards

Arnstein, Germany — After having recently won a prestigious Red Dot design award, the innovative MIWE go! oven control system has received another honour.

The intuitive and smart operating concept impressed the jury of the 2018 German Design Award, which rewarded MIWE with the award for outstanding design quality in the Human Machine Interface category.

The German Design Award, conducted by the German Design Council, saw more than 5,000 submissions presented to the international jury of experts, consisting of design connoisseurs in business, education and science, as well as the design industry.

Even though the MIWE, a bakery processing plant manufacturer is obviously delighted with the prize, business division manager Armin E. Werner stated in a press release that MIWE places more emphasis on what these awards ultimately mean for customers: that the concept of an intuitive control that guides users through the process workflow and provides them with comprehensive information and support at all times, has been scrutinized by hard-to-please specialists and rated as excellent.

The MIWE go! is now available with many MIWE baking stations and older systems can be upgraded with the new control system.
