La Rocca Creative Cakes win Product of the Year Canada

April 18, 2012, Toronto – La Rocca Creative Cakes has been awarded the Product of the Year Canada award.

Judged on innovation, the Dulce Napoleon Cake won in the Home Gourmet category. The winning products were selected following a national survey of nearly 5,400 Canadian consumers. “The seal of approval from these consumer-choice awards provides guidance to Canadians faced with so many choices when they shop,” says Sandra Parente, program director, Product of the Year.

Marty Givens, head pastry chef and cofounder of La Rocca Creative Cakes, travels extensively to experience desserts from around the world and works closely with industry professionals, including their suppliers and other bakers, to gain inspiration.
