GFTC named training centre of the year

Nov. 26, 2012, Guelph, Ont. – The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute has
named the Guelph Food Technology Centre (GFTC) the 2012 Training Center
of the Year as part of the institute's 2012 Quality Achievement Awards.

Nov. 26, 2012, Guelph, Ont. – The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute has named the Guelph Food Technology Centre (GFTC) the 2012 Training Center of the Year as part of the institute's 2012 Quality Achievement Awards. The award recognizes the GFTC's dedication to helping endorse and improve the SQF program around the globe.

The GFTC has 17 years of experience in food safety and quality and has been supporter of the SQF program for more than 10 years. The GFTC was one of the original approved training centres. In the past year, the GFTC has delivered 63 SQF training courses to more than 1,300 participants with an overall satisfaction rating of 97 per cent for delivery of the programs based on course evaluations completed.
