Canada’s top growing baking companies

The Globe and Mail published its list of Canada’s top growing companies, measured by three years of revenue growth.

Two of the top performing baked goods manufacturers appeared in national list.

The Good Fat Co. Ltd., came in first at 19.3 per cent growth, with only 25 employees. Their revenue in 2020 was between $25M and 50M. The company produces keto-friendly, low-sugar, high-fat snack bars, sold in the Canada and the U.S.

O’Doughs, a gluten-free, vegan and allergen-friendly baked goods manufacturer based in Toronto came in 299th, with a three year revenue growth of 114 per cent.

For bakeries considering joining a third-party a delivery service to market and deliver their goods, two fast-rising companies appeared on the list:

GoFor Delivers, a rapid local delivery service company, came in tenth place, with a net 3-year revenue growth of 3.74 per cent.

Hungerhub, a food delivery company for offices and workplaces, came in 90th place, with their growth measured at 649 per cent in the last three years.
