BAC attends HostMilano to explore baking industry trends

Milan, Italy – The 43rd edition of HostMilano, held at Fieramilano in Rho, Milan, saw more than 180,000 professional visitors, including international operators from 166 countries making up 42 per cent of the total.

In addition to European nations such as Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, large delegations were registered from North and South America, the Gulf countries and Asia.

More than 2,100 exhibitors, of which 40 per cent were international, from 50 countries, previewed their new technologies that, in some cases, were not yet available in target markets.

Members of the Baking Association of Canada and Vancouver Island University attended the show, making connections with manufacturers, suppliers, educators and bakeries.
