B.C. Chapter of BAC hosts lively Night at the Races to fund scholarships for baking and pastry students

Surrey, B.C. – The BAC’s BC Chapter hosted Night At The Races, a fun social event that gave members of the baking industry the opportunity to network and raise funds for baking and pastry student scholarships.

The fun took place Nov. 30 at Elements Casino, the Clubhouse at Fraser Downs Racetrack & Casino, in Surrey, B.C.

Attendees met up in the Dragon Lounge for cocktails and socializing, then thrilled to exciting horse races during a delicious dinner.

Chapter chair Gary Humphreys of Caldic and BAC executive director Martin Barnett emceed the proceedings and oversaw the raffling off of prizes.

Humphreys thanked Sheri Castellarin of Snow Cap Enterprises and the B.C. Chapter helped organize the event.
