Bakers Journal has a new editor
Canadian Pizza editor Laura Aiken will be expanding her portfolio with Annex Publishing & Printing Inc. by taking the reins here at Bakers Journal.
July 30, 2010 – As of next week, Canadian Pizza editor Laura Aiken will be expanding her portfolio with Annex Publishing & Printing Inc. by taking the reins here at Bakers Journal.
In pulling this double duty, Laura will have the help of an assistant editor – not that she needs it. In my time as a colleague of Laura's, I've found her to be one of the most efficient, organized and professional businesspeople I've ever known, and there's no doubt in my mind that she will not only continue, but also grow, the magazine's reputation for service to the Canadian baking industry.

As for me, during the next two weeks I'll be putting the finishing touches on the August/September issue and the annual recipe book. After that, I hope to continue my relationship with the magazine as a freelancer.
Over the past two years, I've very much enjoyed the opportunity to get to know, learn from, and inform the passionate people and businesses of the baking industry, and I thank you for being such an amazing readership to serve. Here's hoping we'll be seeing each other again.
