Ancient grains conference set for July 20 in Minnesota

Elk River, Minn. – In July the Northern Crops Institute will hold its first Ancient Grains Conference, which aims to provide an educational setting to explore the characteristics and uses of ancient grains.
The conference will take place on July 20 at the Oliver Kelley Farm in Elk River, Minn. The 19th-century farmstead is an educational facility that highlights past and present farming, food and agriculture.
The conference is suitable for bakers, millers, food manufacturers, ancient grain innovators and anyone interested in learning about the many benefits of ancient grains from the great plains.
There will be presentations and breakout sessions offered for participants.
