Canada’s grains and oilseeds milling poised for growth based on demand: FCC
July 19, 2023 By FCC Food and Beverage
FCC Food and Beverage reports that Canada’s grains and oilseeds milling industry is poised for growth based on strong demand for flour and edible oils from food and beverage manufacturers, retail and food service.
Consumer interest in convenience and sustainability (for example, sourcing more local grains and oilseeds) drove the success of this year’s domestic consumption, FCC said in its latest newsletter.
Healthy grain and oilseed products continue to gain traction at home and abroad, and Canada’s manufacturing capacity is in a position to expand.
