Sept. 26, 2014, Toronto – Kilmer Van Nostrand has
acquired English Bay Batter, a producer of premium gourmet cookies and frozen and refrigerated
dough.

Founded by Jack Seguin three decades ago as a storefront bakery in Vancouver,
English Bay is a wholesale bakery business serving
the in-store bakery, grocery, restaurant and foodservice channels
across North America.

"Over the course of the past 30 years, English
Bay has created an outstanding portfolio of high-quality bakery products
ranging from cookies, to cookie dough, to crescent rolls and biscuits
to pizza dough, pie crusts and muffins," said Anthony Sigel,
of Kilmer, in a news release. "We look forward to working with a superb management team to
continue to build English Bay into a much larger North American bakery
business."

"We are truly delighted to have Kilmer Van Nostrand as our partner," said David Foster, president of English Bay, in the release. We look forward to
working with the team at Kilmer to execute our strategic plan and
continue to grow the business. All of our employees and customers will
benefit from this new long term relationship."

Ravenna Capital, led by Robert Molyneux,
played an important role in identifying the opportunity and assisting Kilmer Van Nostrand throughout the acquisition process. Kilmer will be joined on the board of English Bay by the company's founder, Jack Seguin, and by international food industry veteran, Martin Jamieson, former president of The Pillsbury Company in Canada and the U.K. and former head of Loblaw Brands.
