ACE Bakery Official Bread Partner for Canada’s 150

Toronto — ACE Bakery is showing its proudly Canadian roots by teaming up with Ottawa 2017 as the Official Bread Partner of Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations.

As part of their nationwide efforts, ACE recently held a contest inviting consumers to submit a recipe using any ACE product paired with an iconic Canadian ingredient to DiscoverGreat.ca. The grand prize is a trip for two to dine in Ottawa 2017’s Sky Lounge, a dining experience 150 feet above Ottawa’s city centre.

The ACE team has also been busy deploying a marketing campaign that includes in-store signage, billboards and transit shelters featuring creative focused on Canada’s 150.

On July 2, ACE will be on site at Ottawa 2017’s ‘Picnic on the Bridge’, taking place across the Alexandria bridge that connects Ottawa and Gatineau. ACE Bakery will be handing out 2000 white baguettes for picnic-ers to enjoy.

From July 8-22, ACE Bakery will have a number of products featured on the menu at the Sky Lounge, including Artisan Toasts, Olive Oil Mini Crisps, Baguette Bagel and custom-made Bannock Bread.
