has launched an expanded line of gluten-free products to promote Celiac
Awareness Month.

has launched an expanded line of gluten-free products to promote Celiac
Awareness Month.

The products, which are endorsed by the
Canadian Celiac Association’s Gluten-Free Certification Program and the
National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, are now served at many major
restaurant establishments across Canada and the United States.

By displaying the GFCP endorsed trademarks,
the WOW! Factor dessert brand provides the foodservice industry with an easily
identifiable source of safe gluten-free products.

The GFCP trademark on food packages
indicates that a manufacturer has participated in a voluntary food safety
certification program designed for brand owners to ensure consumers that the
products they are consuming and/or using are gluten-free in their production.

“WOW! Factor Desserts is coming up to our
one-year anniversary of being certified by the GFCP and looking back, it was
one of the best audits and accreditations we could have received for our plant
and our products. It has opened up many doors for our sales teams by giving our
customers the validation that we take the health of their customers seriously.
We continue to develop and launch new items at the request of chef's and
restaurant owners alike,” said Debbie Gust, vice-president of marketing, in a
news release.

Among the upscale frozen dessert supplier’s
gluten-free offerings are Turtle Cheesecake, Midnight Mint Chocolate Torte,
Chocolate Almond Torte, Black Forest Cake, Creamy Crustless Cheesecake,
Tiramisu Sheet Cake and Very Berry Cheesecake.
