WorldSkills 2013 is coming to Germany

June 25, 2013, Landsberg am Lech, Germany – Rational will supply a total of 23 SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency units to equip the WorldSkills vocational world cup kitchens for the cooking at this year’s competitions in Leipzig.

This is the first time in 40 years the international training event is being held in Germany. From July 2 to 7, the world's top performers in 46 disciplines from the industrial, trade, and service sectors will compete for titles and medals.

"WorldSkills is one of the most demanding and toughest cooking competitions of its kind. The tasks impressively reflect the complexity of cookery and require high levels of specialist knowledge and organizational skill. Rational is an ideal partner for us, with its state-of-the-art units that ensure excellent competition conditions," says Ctefan Wohlfeil, Workshop Supervisor Skill Cooking.

The aim of this non-profit organization, with a membership comprising of 66 countries and regions, is to promote vocational training worldwide. The association is committed to knowledge exchange and inspiring young people to take up training in the industrial, trade, and service sectors. The competitors must 22-years-old or younger, and can only compete once.
