New Brunswick – The Wild Blueberry Association of North America (WBANA) rolled out a new website targeted at blueberry consumers in Canada.

With harvest season right around the corner, www.wildblueberryassociation.ca  has been designed to provide credible and interesting information about wild blueberries, including its health benefits.

“In the highly competitive and rapidly evolving wild blueberry growing industry, consistently meeting consumer needs and promoting the many benefits of eating wild blueberries in whatever form, be they fresh, frozen or dried, is of paramount importance,” said Neri Vautour, executive director of the WBANA in a press statement. “Our website’s Canadian version features lots of information adapted to the Canadian market, including local wild blueberry growing, its nutrition facts per portion, its points of sale across the country, festivals, delicious recipes, and much more.”

WBANA will soon be adding social media platforms to engage with consumers, specifically a Facebook page, an Instagram account and a gourmet blog.
