Ted Rich appointed to Rich’s senior vice-president role

the company: senior vice-president, customer experience, and appointed
Ted Rich to the role.

Nov. 21, 2012, Buffalo, N.Y. – Rich’s has created a new position within the company: senior vice-president, customer experience, and appointed Ted Rich to the role.
 
Rich has been serving as managing director of Rich’s Europe/Middle East region. In his new assignment, he will be charged with taking customer relationships to a deeper level by serving as the “voice of the customer” within the Rich’s organization. He will spearhead advancement of the company’s “Rich Experience” strategy, engaging with customers to gain greater insight into Rich’s performance and to determine how the company can enhance the overall value it provides.
 
Prior to his management of the company’s Europe/Middle East region, Rich served as Rich’s vice-president of international marketing and business development, and then as president of Rich’s foodservice division. In addition, he held a series of progressive positions, including regional sales manager in foodservice, strategic sourcing manager in procurement, and vice-president for toppings and icings in North America.

Before joining Rich’s in 1995, Rich worked for the NBA’s Seattle Supersonics as a sales manager. He also has held positions with Northwest Parent Publishing, in Seattle, and the Travers-Schutte & Company advertising agency in Buffalo. He earned his bachelor’s in political science from the University of Vermont and a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
