Sweets From the Earth acquires Quebec biscotti maker Tutti Gourmet

Toronto – Vegan baking company Sweets from the Earth has acquired the assets of Tutti Gourmet, a Quebec-based gluten-free biscotti manufacturer.

The acquisition marks a significant expansion of Sweets from the Earth’s products lineup in the gluten-free and sugar-free markets.

Sweets from the Earth specializes in specialty baked goods. The acquisition of Tutti Gourmet’s assets will enable the company to provide its customers with a wider selection of high-quality, gluten-free baked goods, the company said in a news release.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tutti Gourmet to the Sweets from the Earth family,” said Ilana Kadonoff, founder of Sweets from the Earth. “Tutti Gourmet’s commitment to quality and innovation aligns perfectly with our own values. We are confident that together we can continue to provide our customers with the best plant-based and gluten-free baked goods in the market.”

As part of the acquisition, Tutti Gourmet’s products have been reformulated to meet Sweets from the Earth’s strict standards for using only high-quality, natural, plant-based ingredients.

“We share the same values and passion for creating delicious, healthy baked goods, and we are excited for the future,” said Michael Kachani, founder of Tutti Gourmet.

Sweets from the Earth,founded in 2002, is a family-owned bakery whose
products can be found across Canada, and in the United States and the Middle East. Their baked goods are handmade in small batches using 100 per cent plant-based ingredients and free of artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.

Founded in 1999, Tutti Gourmet manufactures gluten-free baked goods. Famous for its gluten-free Biscotti line and its products are sold in stores across Canada, the U.S., Europe and the United Kingdom.
