Dec. 13, 2012, Vancouver – Baking and pastry arts students at Vancouver Community College recently won first place in the professional category of the Hyatt Regency Vancouver's annual Gingerbread Lane competition.

A team of students and five graduates acting as team leaders teamed up under the direction of Marlie van de Ven, instructor, to create their piece, entitled Gingerbell Bakery (click here to read more about it). The other winners are as follows:
