SAIT Pastry Showcase Winner 2018

Calgary, AB – This past March, Calgary hosted the Pastry Chef Showcase, organized by the Pastry Chef Guild of Alberta.

Pastry chef Ely Salar and his team won the People’s Choice Award, with his Earl Grey Whipped Panna Cotta.

Guests enjoyed samples from 16 of the city’s finest establishments, showcasing their pastry chefs and their creations.

Over 300 guests attended the event, which did double duty, raising funds for both Make-a-Wish Southern Alberta, and providing scholarships for students enrolled in the Baking & Pastry Arts program at SAIT.
