Nut-trition’s Almond Bran coming to Canada

November 11, 2010, Toronto – CK Nutritional Ingredients and California-based Nut-trition Inc. have reached an agreement to make Almond Bran available in Canada.

Using proprietary technology, Nut-trition developed a method to convert dried almond skins recovered from the nut blanching process into a usable, prebiotic ingredient. Almond Bran can be used to add antioxidants, dietary fiber and assorted minerals to bakery items and other food products.

Under the terms of the agreement, CK Nutritional Ingredients has been granted exclusive rights to market, sell and distribute Nut-trition’s Almond Bran in this country.
