Northern Quinoa expanding

March 28, 2011, Kamsack, Sask. – Northern Quinoa Corp., a grower and processor of conventional and organic quinoa, is now offering a range of products under its NorQuin label.

NorQuin brand products include golden and black varieties of whole grain quinoa, quinoa flour, cold rolled quinoa flakes, and quick cooking quinoa flakes.

The company, located in the fertile growing areas of Sask. and Man., contracts quinoa from area farmers and processes the quinoa at its Kamsack, Sask. facility.

Northern Quinoa is currently supplying bakery wholesalers in the United States and wishes to expand into the Canadian market. The company is offering free trial size lots of grain or flour to companies interested in blending quinoa flour into their products.
