‘Gluten-free’ labelling standards take effect
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has formalized the threshold that anything labelled gluten-free must contain less than 20 parts per million of gluten. The ruling, announced a year ago, took effect Aug. 6, reports The Associated Press.
