World Centric’s PizzaRound wins NEXTY award

World Centric is this year’s NEXTY Award winner for Best Environmentally Responsible Packaging.

NEXTY Awards acknowledge excellence in innovation and underscore the natural products industry’s desire to deliver healthful, trusted and sustainable products to consumers. 

World Centric was chosen by the New Hope Network editors and content team from more than 1,500 exhibitors at the 2019 Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California. 

“Getting a NEXTY endorses our commitment to affect change in the world,” says World Centric SVP of Sales Mark Stephany in a press release. “Our mission is to make an impact, and a Nexty helps us influence other manufacturers and consumers to make better choices and use sustainable packaging.”

PizzaRound is the 100 per cent tree-free, plant-based, compostable pizza container from World Centric.

Made from 80 per cent sugarcane and 20 per cent bamboo – both renewable resources –  the PizzaRound offers key sustainability advantages that support restaurants’ efforts to minimize their environmental impact.
