Vitafoods Europe to tackle personalized nutrition

January 9, 2018
By Bakers Journal

In a new poll, personalized nutrition (21 per cent) ranks as one of the most important industry trends for 2018, behind only clean label (49 per cent) and scientifically supported health claims (39 per cent). Vitafoods Europe surveyed 208 industry representatives at the end of last year.

“The potential of personalized nutrition is huge. Everyone is talking about how business can harness the opportunities it creates to meet consumer demand. It hasn’t quite conquered the mass market yet,” said Chris Lee, managing director at Informa Exhibitions’ Global Health and Nutrition Network (GHNN) in a press statement.

GHNN brings together events, digital media and publishing for marketers, manufacturers and formulators of nutrition and dietary supplements, healthy foods and beverages as well as personal care products. Vitafoods Europe, part of GHNN, serves as a platform to tackle common challenges in the nutraceutical industry. The event returns to Geneva, Switzerland May 17 to 18.
