The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association announced that they will be presented with the Trade Show News Network (TSNN) Best of Sustainability Award at the 2019 TSNN Awards held in Dallas November 15-17.

This year, the annual trade show, IDDBA 19, focused on reducing CO2 emissions by running refrigerated and frozen trailers off of 208 volt, 60 amp, 3 phase electricity. The result created a diversion of approximately 326-389 tons of CO2.

Their sustainable efforts continued with food donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Exhibiting companies generously donated 176,315 pounds of food, this translates to 146,870 meals.

IDDBA stated that they are “honoured” to receive this award and we are looking forward to continuing their green actions in Indianapolis for IDDBA 20, May 31-June 2, 2020.
