Epson, the digital label and packaging company, will be showcasing its leading ColorWorks® on-demand colour label printing solutions for fresh food applications, as well as samples created on SurePress® digital label presses, at Convenience Retailing University to showcase labelling options for startups.

Andy Scherz, senior product manager, Commercial Label Printers, Epson America, Inc., will be presenting during a breakout session at this event.

Scherz’s presentation will be called, “Using Technology to Build Your Foodservice Brand.” The session will look at how strong branding and engaging labels are fundamental for top retail products, and how new technology makes it easy to extend the benefits of impactful labeling to fresh food production, ultimately growing sales. The session will compare older label solutions with new methods that enable businesses to create and print beautiful color labels immediately at the point of production – in store or in the kitchen.

The conference runs from Monday, Feb. 25 through Thursday, Feb. 28. Andy Scherz’s breakout session will be held from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in meeting room Suwannee 20., in Rosen Shingle Creek, 9939 Universal Blvd., Orlando, Fla. 32819
