Dealers Ingredients honoured by GHP, grows management team

Toronto – Nutritional ingredient supplier Dealers Ingredients was one of 10 companies recently honoured by Global Health and Pharma (GHP) for their contributions to health care and pharmaceuticals in 2017.

The company also recently added two new hires to its management team. Myriam Côté has rejoined the organization in the newly created role of manager of national accounts. In this role Côté will provide additional strategic planning and sales support across North America, the company said in a news release.

Chris Kovachis has come on board as controller. Kovachis has experience in accounting and finance with various manufacturing companies, including a flavour ingredient company. He will support Dealers Ingredients and its affiliates with financial reporting, cost analysis and documentation.

Dealers Ingredients president and chief executive officer Chuck Harvey said the company was honoured by the award. “Over the years, we have had a lot of success in providing healthy, plant-based protein options for the foodservice industry for health-care, retirement homes and long-term care facilities and we are proud of the work we have done,” Harvey said.
