Breadometer awarded U.S. patent

Feb. 7, 2014, U.S. - ECD BakeWATCH’s latest innovation, the Breadometer, has been awarded U.S. patent #8556502. This is the 14th patent for the company’s portfolio of M.O.L.E. thermal profiling tools.  
 

Breadometer is a unique food probe technology designed to help baking professionals ensure ongoing product consistency, optimize taste and texture, and enable high yields. Developed in 2011 and patented in October 2013, Breadometer finds the coldest area of the baked good through the use of a single probe insertion, and locates five thermocouples into the dough while the sixth channel remains outside to detect oven entrance and exit.

 

ECD BakeWATCH offers a complete suite of baking optimization tools that include: SuperM.O.L.E, Gold 2 thermal profiler for oven balancing and baked goods optimization, Breadometer dough sensing for bake cycle perfection, MiniM.O.L.E. rh proofing technology and VaporWATCH proofer temperature and humidity tracking and control.
