Local food service industry bands together

April 1, 2009 – Getting Sudbury's various restaurants, butcher shops, delis, cafes and
other food service companies to sit at one table and working together
isn't just giving them a unified voice: it can translate into jobs,
says a Cambrian College official.

Cambrian College students from the chef training and baking and pastry arts programs were on hand for launch of the Greater Sudbury Restaurant and Foodservice Association at Tom Davies Square on Tuesday. John Lappa, The Sudbury Star

"This is going to result in some job opportunities in the future,"
said instructor Jean-Guy Robichaud in an interview following the launch
of the Greater Sudbury Restaurant & Foodservice Association at Tom
Davies Square Tuesday.

"If restaurants get busier, they will need more staff. We are hoping they will be able to employ our students." | READ MORE
