Lentia awarded SQF certification level 3

March 5, 2014, Toronto – Lentia Enterprises has received the
highest level of SQF (Safe Quality Food) certification – Level 3, Edition 7.1 –
to achieve a ratings score of “Excellent.” Under the Global Food Safety
Initiative umbrella, SQF is recognized by retailers and foodservice providers
around the world who require a rigorous, credible food safety management
system.

March 5, 2014, Toronto – Lentia Enterprises has received the
highest level of SQF (Safe Quality Food) certification – Level 3, Edition 7.1 –
to achieve a ratings score of “Excellent.” Under the Global Food Safety
Initiative umbrella, SQF is recognized by retailers and foodservice providers
around the world who require a rigorous, credible food safety management
system.

This accomplishment, achieved in December this year, offers
Lentia’s customers confidence in the knowledge that comprehensive
implementation of food safety and quality management systems is in place. Lentia’s
customers range from large and medium-sized industrial manufacturers to smaller
bakers, confectioners and patisseries in Canada and the United States.

President and owner Karl Eibensteiner, who has European
expertise as a master baker, chef and pastry chef, said in a press release, “I am very pleased
that this certification has been completed this year, and I am proud of the
entire Toronto team and the efforts that were made to ensure we achieved the
ratings score of ‘Excellent.’ ”

Lentia Enterprises Ltd., founded in 1987 by Eibensteiner, manufactures
bread bases and bread improvers for the bakery industry and imports fine food
ingredients from around the world.
