Toronto – On Sept. 20, Torontonians will have a chance to see Kings of Pastry, a 2009 documentary that follows three pastry chefs on their quest to become members of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (Best Craftsmen in France).
The Toronto Food & Wine Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival’s “Food on Film” series are joint sponsors of the event.
Celebrity Chef Roger Mooking and TIFF director of adult learning Theresa Scandiffio will introduce the film, which will be screened at the BMO Atrium at Evergreen Brick Works from 4 to 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20.
The screening will be “accompanied by some tasty treats,” festival organizers said in a news release.
