
December 22, 2011, Channahon, IL – IOI Loders Croklaan achieved an "excellent” score on its recent Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level II audit.
The grade demonstrates IOI Loders Croklaan's commitment to offering products that are of the highest quality and functionality, and manufactured in a highly controlled, safe process environment.
“[Our] Channahon facility reached its most significant achievement in operational excellence and integrity by achieving SQF Level 2 Certification with an auditor recommended rating of excellent," said Bill Troy, vice-president of operations. "This rating places IOI Loders Croklaan Americas among the best of the best globally and will bring recognition from our present and future customers as a top supplier who controls their processes and products to not only provide a safe quality food, but one of optimal quality and reliability.”
The SQF Program is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and links primary production certification to food manufacturing, distribution and agent/broker management certification. Administered by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), SQF benefits from continual retailer feedback about consumer concerns.
