Indonesia import duty decision set to shake up cocoa supply

April 8, Jakarta – Indonesia's cocoa grinding
industry, which includes firms such as Cargill and
Barry Callebaut, is squaring off against farmers over
import duties, the outcome of which could shake up the cocoa market. Cocoa bean production in the world's third-largest producer
is set to hit the lowest in more than a decade this year at
