INDCO Tri-Clamp mixers suitable for mixing CBD and cannabis products

INDCO has introduced a Tri-Clamp mixer it says is ideal for the manufacture of CBD-infused products.

Tri-Clamp Mount Mixers from INDCO produce ample shear to form emulsions when mixing lipophilic compounds like CBD and other cannabis products.

Designed for sealed applications, the sanitary tri-clamp design provides quick and easy, no-tools access to the vessel. The Model TCM-3-050V electric variable speed unit plugs directly into a standard 120-volt outlet, providing out-of-the-box productivity. Standard features include a three-inch diameter tri-clamp flange, internally mounted mechanical seal rated full vacuum to 125 psi, and a flexible shaft coupler.

A ½ horsepower epoxy coated washdown motor is driven by a Leeson Washguard NEMA 4X control and provides output speed from 35-1750 rpm to put cannabis compounds in emulsion. The 5/8-inch diameter by 35-inch long shaft attaches to the coupler and two four-inch, three-blade square pitch propellers with set screws. All wetted parts are 316 stainless steel, with optional electropolished wetted parts available.

The company says Model TCM-3-050V Tri-Clamp Mount Mixers are ideal for mixing CBD and other cannabis compounds to produce gummies, chewables, infusions, and other products as well as other applications within the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.

INDCO, located in New Albany, Ind., offers sealed tank mixers from ½ to 1 ½ horsepower with either air or TEFC electric motors. They are available in 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch sizes.
