Recalled due to Ecoli: Good Boucher brand beef

Good Boucher brand lean beef has been recalled due to E.Coli strain 0157:H7. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CIFA) named Goodfood Market Corp as the company involved.
Though possibly a national recall, among the provinces affected were New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec. The following three products were recalled:
- 285g Lean Ground Beef, Lot: 18-03-07 with the best before date 2018-03-21
- 510g Lean Ground Beef, Lot: 18-03-05 with the best before date 2018-03-19
- 510g Lean Ground Beef, Lot: 18-03-07 with the best before date 2018-03-21
Food contaminated with E. coli O157:H7 may not look or smell spoiled but can still induce illness. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and watery to bloody diarrhea. In severe cases of illness, some people may have seizures or strokes, require blood transfusions and kidney dialysis or live with permanent kidney damage. In severe cases of illness, people may die.
