Food sector will gather in Cologne for Anuga

March 18, 2013 – Preparations are underway for Anuga, a food and
beverage show that is scheduled to take place from Oct. 5-9 in Cologne,
Germany.

March 18, 2013 – Preparations are underway for Anuga, a food and beverage show that is scheduled to take place from Oct. 5-9 in Cologne, Germany. About 6,700 suppliers ae expected to come together with around 160,000 potential customers from the food trade and the catering sector. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and the day’s activities will end at 7 p.m., with the exception of the last day of the fair, when the doors will close at 6 p.m.

The concept of Anuga’s remains the same since 2003. Anuga has consisted of 10 trade shows that represent 10 core segments in the food and beverage sector. The 10 show categories are fine food, chilled and fresh food, meat, frozen food, dairy, bread, bakery and hot beverages, drinks, foodservice, retail and organic.

The Anuga Executive Summit will take place the evening before the show opens, and other events including a new product platform will also occur. For more information, visit www.anuga.com.
